Character Pages - how do you organize them?

Do you put all your character pictures in one big spread?
Or do you put character photos in each Park spread?

What headlines have you used?

(of course the search isn't working again! I need ideas! Help!)

In our 2000 trip album I made a section called "Meeting the Characters" and did all the pictures of the kids and characters in that section. I don't know about the next trip though. I may do them by park because we're going to Universal/IOA too.

It depends on how many you had. I tend to do everything chronilogically, so I would put them in as a separate page or spread when it happened.

We had almost 40 autographs, so I did an album (8 1/2 x 11) that was only character autographs.

I did them by meal (since most were met at character meals), and then did a page called 'Collecting Autographs' which had a lot of the other random characters we just 'bumped' into on it.

I usually put them with other photos from the same location, "Adventureland", etc., to add variety to the pictures of the same people over and over again.

For extra character photos, I have done a couple of things: Make your page look like the wall of a castle with several windows (rounded at the top) that the characters are looking out. Cut some of the photos so the character's arm or ear extends over the window frame. You can leave the "wall" plain, or draw a few bricks, or detail it as much as you want, maybe adding simple spikes at the top. The title can be in one of the windows. I saw this page in a magazine and modified it for my own photos. The title was "Disney Friends."

Besides extra character pix, don't you get lots of MK photos of the castle with a person posing in front of it? (From Main Street or the various bridges?) I am now working on a page called "Characters and Castles" to use all those extra photos. Hope this helps!

I found myself with tons of character photos from our numerous
trips. So....I decided to create a separate album(8 1/2 x 11) titled
encounters of the character kind, and I am adding to the album in alphabetical order. I think it will be great when the boys grow up
to see in one album, pictures of them at different ages with different characters. It also provides me with a list of those characters which I do not have pictures of.

Wow thanks for the great ideas! I just go in an order from mouse memories (needed those refill pages for the 2002 ears to you album:rolleyes: ) and I had ordered a sheet of tit;e stickers - that have great character titles!
I can't wait to start those pages - I have to finish Animal Kingdom pages first:rolleyes:

I've used the title "What a bunch of characters" as it includes my guys and they are the biggest characters of all.

for each major charactor (Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Daisy, Donald) 12X12 and used 'their' colors, the page from my autograph book, and the little pictures from the hot off the press paper that is all pictures for embellishments. Each minor charactor gets a single page, with the facing pages related as far as possible (ie Pooh faces Piglet, Tigger faces Eeyore). By now, Mickey and Minnie have two double page spreads each because i've had so many encounters.

The character page that I liked the best of the ones that I have done has the title "What a Character," which I scraplifted from a Disney idea book. It is printed on vellum and over a square of different colored Mickey head punches. I then did some serendipity squares (remember them?) with the Mickey punch. It turned out really cute.
