Character Meets Back to Normal?

And we are curious after Disney's announcement.
**EDIT** I do see it is supposed to start after April 18 but no mention of Aulani**

Are the Character meets still distanced? Or can we get close?

We are down to 98 days and getting very excited

Not sure when it will happen at Aulani but we will be there April 18 so . Will post what I see that week.

As early as April 18, we will start reintroducing traditional character greetings at Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts, as well as aboard Disney Cruise Line. That’s right! Very soon, you will once again be able to hug Mickey Mouse, get an autograph from Mulan, and share a laugh with Goofy.
While not all locations will be available immediately, we anticipate reopening in phases throughout the spring and early summer.

This photo of Pluto waving to us was taken on March 23rd. We noticed characters out greeting guests for at least a couple of weeks prior to that date.
