I have asked this question on a different forum but couldn’t get an answer... I thought maybe the family section was more aware of character M&G!
My kids LOVE characters (much more than rides) and I am trying to plan our parks days in February
Is there anywhere we can find out the average waits for M&G that don’t have wait times listed on the app?
for instance: toy story characters and Incredibles at HS, Gaston and Pooh at MK, Timon and Rafiki at AK, princesses and Joy at Epcot...
Do any of you have experience with those? Should I get there as early as possible or do lines get shorter by the end of the day?
Thanks!

I found generally that the lines got longer later in the day. The best times for us was first thing in the morning. We also had good luck with meeting characters at our resort. Sometimes we were just lucky and there would be a short line as we were going by and we just jumped in it.

Personally, I find the easiest way to meet characters is to do the character dining when I'm going with young children. I like to have a sit down meal once a day anyway and this saves time for us in the long run.

Earlier is better and for us Character Meals are a must. You have to eat anyways and a meal can knock off 5 characters at a time.

We met all the characters at the circus tents inMK and it took about an hour total. The girls really enjoyed them, though. The lines for Alice and Mickey and company in Epcot all stayed long, but I think they were moving quickly and most people were waiting 15 minutes or so. They loved Pluto but he was just standing about so there was no real line. You just went up to him. We also met all the princesses. The lines stayed about 45 minutes + for E&A in Norway, but we waited as they were a must see. We did princess dinners to meet the others.

I’m thanks for the tips
I do have a few character meals planned (Artist Point, Topolino, Garden Grill and Trattoria al forno)
So we will be meeting most of the fab 5 (except goofy) and a few princesses / dwarves
But my kids are HUGE toy story fans, and lion King, so I guess I will have to see when I get there!
