Total Nightmare trying to get character meals booked for week commencing 11 October.

Didn't expect to get Cindy's breakfast but had thought I might at least get somthing at Chef Mickey's - no luck!!! Everything was fully booked for that Saturday through to the following Thursday.

Anyone have any advice for when I should try for cancellations???

I have boked Dinner at the Liberty Tree Tavern 4pm sitting - so it's really a late lunch.....

Has anyone done this - and what did you think???

If you want a breakfast and Princesses I hear that the Character Breakfast at Norway in EPCOT is good and chances of getting a PS there?? As for cancellations I'd try anytime.
Claire :D

Claire, Thanks for replying. I tried for the one in EPCOT - surprise, surprise it was fully booked too - LOL.

I'll just have to keep tyring for a cancellation.....

WDW must be getting busier as when we were there in June 2002 I only booked about 4 days in advance for Chef Mickeys and that was when we had arrived at WL!!! So keep trying you never know what you may get.
Claire ;)

I only booked our PS's last night (slack I know)

15th Sept 1900 Park Fare Breakfast (Mary Poppins etc)
17th Sept 1900 Park Fare Buffet (Beauty and the Beast)
18th Sept Mickey's backyard BBQ (this was the only one available of the 4 times it was on during the period 13th - 27th!)
Fastasmic package at the Hollywood and Vine, can't remember the date though.

We've not done the Liberty Tree, we had it booked for Xmas Day 2001, but DD was ill (not serious) so we had to leave the park. May try it this time around.

Best of luck!

I don't know what the PS would be like now but we went to Crystal Palace at MK for a character lunch & it was great. The food was v. good & a reasonable price. Buffet style - lots of choice.

Don't know about cancellations, but if all else fails just turn up on the day & see what the wait is like - sometimes its not as bad as you think. For example, Rainforest Cafe at AK only had a half hour wait when we went & that was at 12.30 on a Saturday lunch time.
