How would you rank the Character Meals based on:

a. food
b. character interaction

We haven't done them all but thusfar

by food:

1. 1900 Park Fare
2. Garden Grill
3. Crystal Palace
4. Chef Mickey's
5. Hollywood and Vine
6. Norway Princesses

by interaction:

1. Norway Princesses
2. Garden Grill
3. Chef Mickey's
4. Hollywood and Vine
5. Crystal Palace
6. 1900 Park Fare

I guess the interaction was okay at Park Fare... but they were less known characters to my wee ones so they weren't as much "fun" if that makes sense! I found Chef Mickeys and Crystal Palace to be rushed. Hollywood and Vine was actually a good interaction for us as we were there early and there weren't a lot of tables I can see how this would change if it were busy.

That being said... we are going back to all this trip and adding in Tusker House.

An interesting question. Here's my take with what we (DW & I) gone to:

food:
1900 brekfast
Garden Grille dinner/LTT Dinner (which is no longer character)
1900 dinner
Akershus breakfast
CM breakfast
Cape May breakfast
CP breakfast
CP dinner

interaction:
We haven't had a bad experience with character interaction except for our trip to CP for dinner...I think we were placed in an area the characters had recently went through, so we didn't see everyone. The Tigger there, however, was very funny...he saw that we didn't have any Tigger pins on our lanyards and did a diva strut away from us.

So I would say all had good interaction, we just had poor placement at the one dinner...no fault of our own or the characters themselves, just a victim of circumstance.

I've only ever done one of them & it was breakfast at Cape May & we loved it. We will go back in September.

Food:
1. Tusker House—great breakfast!
2. Garden Grill—lunch/dinner
3. Cape May—breakfast
4. Crystal Palace—breakfast
5. Liberty Tree Tavern—dinner (although it’s not character anymore :sad1: )
Tie CRT—breakfast
Chef Mickey’s—dinner
Princess Storybook Dining—breakfast
Hollywood and Vine—lunch
(none of these were awful, just not great food)

Character interaction:
1. Chef Mickey’s
2. Tusker House
3. Cape May
4. (tie) Liberty Tree Tavern
4. (tie) Hollywood and Vine
4. (tie) Garden Grill
7. Princess Storybook Dining
8. CRT
9. Crystal Palace
All of these were pretty good, but CRT and CP were a little rushed.

We are looking forward to trying 1900 Park Fare for dinner in June, and possibly Ohana for breakfast, along with some of our other favorites!
