My dd loves the princesses but is not bothered about any other characters, I was wondering is there a character meal that the princesses attend or is the only place to meet the princesses at the photo point - I think we have nearly a full set of those photos but would like some less formal/staged ones.

If not, I would be grateful for recommendations for 30 December either Walts or Innovations. We will be staying off site, will that make any difference for being able to get into either of them for that evening - probably looking for about 6.30-7pm. How busy will they be? Our group will be four adults and dd, aged 6.

There is not any specific Princess character meals and I can't recall ever seeing or reading about Princesses attending the meals along with the other characters.

Bumping, as hoping for advice regarding the options for the 30th - especially if nowhere has princesses we will have to look for a standard character meal as something special.

I know they run a show at the Newport Bay Hotel which has something to do with Tinkerbell.I dont know much about it but it is Dinner and a Show and runs from23rd December to 6th January.

I am sure someone from the board has been to it and may fill you in with the information.Sounds like a special something to do though

its a shame but i dont think the princesses are ever at charactor meals, but I think with the sucess of the princess photo point I think if disney were to have a princess meal the demand would be HUGE! princess: It would be lovely if they intruduced a princess tea party or something with fairy cakes etc a bit like the ones they have in fantastyland already ,maybe the daddys would enjoy this idea as well :thumbsup2

The NBH does do the timkerbell show but from what I recall (and there was a lot going on at one time) there were none of the princesses there.

It was a fantastic show, (and superb meal) but if seeing a disney princess close up is your sole aim them the face value ticket price is too high to pay.

I have yet to see a DP at any character meals. Shame because that what little girlies dream of.

:goodvibes I know she's not really a princess but we did meet Mary Poppins (and Bert too) at our buffet meal in Inventions in the DLH. Would she do ?

I knew someone had met Mary Poppins at a meal ~ I was racking my brains trying to think who! :scratchin

You shouldn't have any problems booking either Walts or Inventions for the 30th ~ it's the 31st that has the special expensive menu. Book it on 00 33 1 60 30 40 50 at the end of this month ~ you can book up to 60 days in advance. :) There are no characters at Walt's. If it's a character meal you're after then you will be best going for either Inventions or how about Cafe Mickey?
