We are going in July-I have 2 questions, how early in advanced can you book the breakfast or the lunch-what is the difference between the breakfast and the lunch? Is there a website that details the character meals?
Thanks,
Samantha

You can book meals 180 days in advance. The CM will tell you who you can expect to see at the meal.

If you will allow me a moment to rant. Don't go to CP, not worth it.

Ok, I'm done, sorry about that.

:wave2: Do you know who to contact to book ahead of time? My children are going in April and need a contact. We would appreciate some help. Thanks. :)

Call Disney Dining at 1-800-828-0228 or 407-939-3463.

Here is a link that will help you. Disney has several character breakfasts, lunches and dinners at several resorts and parks. Some are hard to get, like the princess meals, and some are easier, but you need to call soon if you are going in July as they will book up fast.

:cool1: Thanks so much for your help. It will make the trip so much more enjoyable for a ten year old. If you go to Colorado Springs let me know about your trip. My dad was born there and I have been there many times. It's so beautiful there.

1st timer here and we'll probably do only 1 or 2 character meals. Which are the best for us...ds will be 7 and dd will be 3 1/2????? We probably won't do breakfast as we're staying offsite...any tips?

Everyone in my family loved the breakfast at Chef Mickey's----you could do the breakfast late and use it for lunch---just grab a quick bite in your room in the am, then go for "breakfast" later in the am. It would give you some time for rides right after you get there. Then later at "lunch" time you already ate and some of the rides will open up. :thumbsup2 :woohoo: :yay:

I would skip Akershus in Norway. It is a princess dinner, but the food was terrible, IMO. My DS6 & DD2 did not eat a thing. We loved 1900 Park fare- the interaction was great, my DD was fascinated with Cinderella, and they loved seeing Prince Charming. The food was spectacular! We also loved Chef Mickeys, Crystal Palace (dinner) and O'hanas (not a character dinner but the food was great and the kids loved the hula hoops and the coconut races).
