Character meals: O'hana or Chef Mickey?

I was planning on doing CM as a character meal, but my boys will be 7 and almost 11. The almost 11 year old is a little old for Mickey, but thinks that Lilo and Stitch are cool. The 7 year old thinks whatever big brother likes is cool.

I also know that the 11 year old won't mind Chef Mickey as long as they have the make your own sundae bar!

With this in mind, would O'hana's be a better choice? How late do they take seating for the character breakfast?

Is it reasonable to think that we could spend the morning at MK, then hop the monorail to the poly for a late breakfast?
