Character meals like Ohana's

We've been to a few character meals (Cape May, CP) but found we enjoyed having a server bring it to the table (like at Ohana) rather than getting buffet from a line.

Our traveling party is just me, my husband, my 3 yo son. One of us always seemed to be up in the chow line when a character would walk up to the table. I've missed more great photo chances this way
I know we could wait until they come around again but we'd rather be out in the park and a 3 year old can only sit for so long without getting antsy.

Are there other character meals with servers rather than buffet? I think CRT is one...can you think of any others?

Garden Grill comes to mind, but that's the only one. We've never done Mickey's Backyard BBQ, but that may also be one. Anyone out there know for sure???

Akershus is family style for hot items, you get up for the cold buffet.

Akershus, Ohana, CRT, & Garden Grill are the only ones I believe. Slim pickings, but what can you do right. While at buffets, i have never missed a character. I keep an eye out on the closest character and see how far he is from my table. If he's far enough, i will hurry to the buffet and come back. If he's close enough, i'll just wait. Thats the best way to do it.
