I wish they would do a pixar meal my daughter loves all the movies.

Lilo and Stitch Breakfast @ PCH Grill
Chip N Dale Critter Breakfast @ Storytellers in the GCH
Ariel's Princess lunch or Dinner @ Ariel's Grott in DCA
Goofy's Kitchen, Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner @ DLH
Minnie & Friends Breakfast @ Plaza Inn in DL

I believe that is all of them.

You'll see lots of good reviews and a few bad or so-so, but in general I think you can't miss with a character meal, the kids are bound to have a great time! If you ask for a favorite character meal, every single one will be mentioned, so I take that as a good sign. :thumbsup2

Our experiences with the character meals:

I was told by a CM that Goofy's Kitchen is by far the most popular, so make sure to book that one in advance, especially if you are going at a busier time. We've done GK dinner twice, and loved it both times. Good variety of food, lots of kids selections in the buffet. Lots of characters, lively character interaction. Some characters come through quickly, others linger and chat with the kids, draw pictures on the paper tablecloth, and just really make it special for the kids.

The Princess meal has had good and bad reviews here, mainly for the food and service. This is the only one we haven't tried yet, and DS3 and I are going to give it a whirl in a few weeks. princess:

Minnie and Friends seemed very busy, busier than the other 2 character breakfasts we attended. Standard breakfast fare, nice and hot. Some children were up and running about chasing characters instead of sitting in their seats, which seems better controlled at the other locations. We went hoping to see DS3's favorite Pooh characters which often appear there, and were lucky! :thumbsup2

Lilo & Stitch was another great one. Good breakfast food, including omelets, waffles and more Asian-Pacific fare. Try the pineapple scone with pineapple jam! Minnie loved my DS3 (2yo at the time), she hugged and hugged him, and I worried after a bit that she wasn't gonna give him back! :lmao:
Stitch is hilarious, clowning around with the kids. We had an early seating so it wasn't that busy at first; the characters came around and stopped a 2nd or even a 3rd time at our table, even knowing they'd already met my kids. I loved that, and the kids ate it up!

Brother Bear breakfast was actually more fun than I expected. It was quiet, in a beautiful restaurant, and yummy food! (We paid an arm and a leg for 2 tiny bowls of cereal for DS7, though, OUCH!) The animal characters of course don't speak, but communicate very well with hand gestures and hugs. Even though my kids weren't familiar with some of the characters, they loved them all the same. :)

This is a great thread and helpful too, if you have done the character meals before can you go over who all you saw at the character meals, I know they vary and would just like to know. Thank you.:goodvibes

DH and I have no kids but we enjoyed the breakfast at the Plaza Inn. The characters were goofing around with us even though we didn't have kids and while it was expensive, the food was the best breakfast in the park.

We are doing Ariel's Grotto in March. I really really want to see Sleeping Beauty!!!!! :bounce:

Lilo and Stitch at PCH Grill: Lilo, Stitch, Daisy Duck, Minnie in Hawaiian clothes...

Chip and Dale's at GCH: NOT Chip and Dale b/c they have other obligations after 10:30am, and our PS was at 11:30. Kenai, Koda, Meeko, and the makeup-wearing gorilla from Tarzan.

Have I lost my mind, or does Ariel's have a breakfast now? I think I've lost my mind, but I swear I thought it does...:confused3

Ariel's does serve breakfast now. They did just change their hours and the earliest PS is 9 am.

Turk, eh? Good to have a name. :)

Oh I'm so glad I wasn't losing my mind. It's not even mentioned on disneyland's site under that restaurant (wait, disneyland's site having outdated info? noooooo...) so I was feeling a bit unsure of myself.

Hmm. Ariel's breakfast by myself...wonder if there are any PSs left for next weekend? Hmm.

We had Minnie's the last time we were there and we also had one of the first dinner seatings at Ariel's.

At Minnie's breakfast was good. We had Mickey waffles, and fresh fruit and some of their lighter fare, I'm not a big breakfast person. Dh had some of the heavier stuff and he enjoyed it. The kids mainly enjoyed the characters and eating was secondary. We saw Minnie, Fairy Godmother, Peter Pan, Captain Hook (ds was scared and dd really didn't want anything to do with him so we kind of waved him on and he hid his face as he walked by, pretty funny), Rabbit, Tigger, Eeyore, Pooh, and I think that's it. Chip and Dale had just come in as we were leaving.

Ariel's Grotto was great. The food was pretty good as far as we were concerned, dh and I did the salad, fish n chips, and chocolate cake. Ds had a half of a children's portion since he was under 3 at the time, he didn't even eat that much. DD ate her meal, I believe she had the chicken, and she ended up having some of my fish instead. We saw Ariel, Cinderella, Belle, Mary Poppins, and Snow White. We would do it again sometime.

We have plans to try Goofy's Kitchen for dinner and Lilo and Stitch for Breakfast this next time.

Molly, you might want to double check the breakfast offerings first, I don't think they are very veggie friendly. . .
