Hi
When booking an ADR for 2 adults and a 2 and a half year old I presume i book for three people? I have seen that the child prices start at 3 years so what happens with a 2 1/2 year old? Will he be allowed to eat free at a buffet character meal IE at C. Palace and what happens at a family style dining place such as whispering canyon?
Many thanks.

Kids under three are free to stay play and eat:thumbsup2 You will be offered a free high chair when you get to the restaurants and you can share a plate with you little one there are lots of choices for kids meals at the buffets. just explain you have a party of two adults and a toddler aged 2.. kids prices start at 3 years old up to 9 years old. Have fun.

thanks when booking an ADR do i book for 2 adults 1 child ? or do let them know that its a toddler?

I'd say 2 adults and a toddler (just so they don't get mixed up) they may ask for the little one's age just to check they are under 3.. and they may note that you may need a high chair/ booster seat at the table when you check in at the podium. It's not a problem they will allocate you a table for two with room for the high chair or an extra chair with booster seat.

I always say the age of the child when I book (so for our character meals I said it was 2 adults, a 4 year old and a 1 year old). I hope you guys have a blast!!! We love the character meals!

We were in the same position as you in 2007 - when making ADR's I always said 2 adults and 1 child age 2. They then would ask if I wanted a highchair or booster seat. The booster seat was nearly always noted on the computer record at the restaurant when we checked in and they would have one waiting for us.

At buffets, the little one can eat for free. At all other meals they can share yours free of charge but you will have to pay if you order them a kids meal.

Some places seem to give them free drinks, others charge.
