We're doing CRT for the girls, but I need to do something for our son, who is 4. Any suggestions on the best character meal more suitable for boys? I was considering Garden Grill, but was curious if there was something more "boyish". I mean, where's the pirate meal?

i'm not familiar with a pirate meal (you could check allearsnet.com to see what there is)..
but one possibility for you - Donald's character breakast at the restarantasaurus....or maybe it's called breakfastasaurus...
anyway....it's in Animal Kingdom....it's one of the few character breakfasts where you'll find Donald Duck....i can't remember who else is there...
also, the restaurant is in Dinoland at Animal Kingdom.....i'm sure a 4 year old boy would enjoy that concept...eating in donald's dinasaur restaurant..

and the food itself is pretty good...not the best, but pretty good..
we enjoyed it....

pirate: I agree they could very easily build a pirate's meal. Between PofC and Peter Pan there are more than enough characters (girl and boy) and Mickey, Donald and Goofy all have pirates costumes I'm sure.

WDW fans have been asking for a character meal for boys for a while now, but so far we haven't gotten one. However, there are a couple of character meals that most boys enjoy.

My guys always loved Donald's Breakfastosaurus. My younger DS is a huge Donald fan, and we also love seeing Mickey, Goofy and Pluto. The theming there definite has a "boy" feel - it's set up like an archeological dig site camp, with lots of dinosaur artifacts.

We also enjoyed Garden Grill with Farmer Mickey and the gang, and Chef Mickey's is fun for everyone. But if I had to choose one character meal for a young boy, I'd go with Donald's.

Another good boy character meal option, IMHO, is Ohana's breakfast. It's now got Stitch (sometimes Lilo) and Mickey, Minnie and Pluto.
