5 of us (all adults) greatly enjoyed the PSB in Norway last May and had a great time! There were LOTS of adult only parties there, the table over was just a single middle aged woman =) The characters come to each and every table, we snapped pictures, got them to sign a postcard for my niece, and thanked them for their time. We almost had more fun watching the little ones around us interact with the princesses.
The PSB has been extended through lunch hours now - Im a huge fan of breakfast ones, because you won't need to eat again until dinner so it saves tons of money, plus the food courts are crazy busy and not very good anyways. We either eat a quick bite on the way to the parks (poptart, donut, etc) and have a big lunch (to save $), or eat a big breakfast, quick snack midafternoon, and dinner. We had (what was at the time) the last seating, and it was 11am - which is practically lunch. Even now, you can get later seatings and make it lunch.
1900 Park Faire is another good one, with Cindy and Friends- that's a dinner, and the GF is just gorgeous. Completely depends on what characters you enjoy. We enjoy the face characters the most, like the Princesses, Alice, Mary Poppins, etc so choose those instead.
We've never felt out of place, quite the opposite, and a had a good time.
