Character meals at The Swan?

I *think* that The Garden Grove and Gulliver's are one and the same place. Is that right or do I have it wrong? Why do they have two names? My real question is, which one does the character meal? I'm really confused about this! I read somewhere that they have Timon from The Lion King at their character meal and I know my two boys would enjoy that. I read the lunch menu on Allearsnet for Garden Grove and they have nice non-meat options. But then there's a separate menu for Gullivers. Help!!!! Confused AGAIN :rotfl2:

I've not been but from what I can gather from allearsnet.com (look under dining then menus then the Swan to read about the Garden Grove), it's the Garden Grove during the day and at night some kind of transformation happens to the inside interior that makes it Gullivers Grill at the Garden Grove (related to the Gulliver's travels tales (I guess it's supposed to be more fantasy like at night). I'm hoping to get there on our next trip to try it). I believe they have character breakfasts on the weekend and maybe a character dinner or two during the week. I've heard that it is normally only two characters though, like Goofy and Pluto. They may also have Lion King characters there sometimes. I've asked about it before but haven't gotten a huge response. Maybe try doing a search on either Garden Grove or Gullivers. Hope someone else comes along who can help you more.

That makes sense! I never even associated the name Gulliver's to Gulliver's Travels. Thank you! That sounds great actually as it seems to me it might be more fun for boys my age (11 and 8) as many of the character meals seem to be geared towards younger kids. Sounds like a nice setting.

I can answer that part now as I had a look at the Character List at Allearsnet. I have managed to ascertain (lol!) that Timon and Rafiki from The Lion King are at the dinner on MONDAYS AND FRIDAYS and Pluto and Goofy are there "all other nights".

Thanks for the reply. I think we'll give the place a go on either a Monday or Friday evening!
