Character Meals and autographs

Can kids get autographs durring character meals? We are going 4th of July week and have a bunch of Character Meals planned. I was hoping to "skip" lines at parks to "meet" characters and get autographs if my girls can get them at breakfast and dinner....I know that you can take pictures and the character interact with everyone but I was not sure about autographs. Anyone have any thoughts?

Ahhh, see, everyone has a differing opinion on this.....I find that unless you time your character meal to an off time so that the restaurant isn't full (and in some places that's impossible), that the length of the interaction is short and unsatisifying.....add to this that you paid an outrageous price for a meal BECAUSE it had the characters, and well.....I'll stand in line for 10-15 minutes so that the kids and I can interact with the characters for several minutes, get autographs and have pictures without other diners in the background, lol.

To each his own.

To OP....one place that comes to mind that the characters DO NOT sign autographs is the CRT dinner....Fairy Godmother and Perla dance around and perform but no stopping at individual tables. I haven't been for breakfast or lunch at CRT but I believe those are both Princesses and they DO sign. So if you want autographs, don't do CRT dinner.

Thank you! I am thinking that I will see how each meal goes ...if there is an oppertunity then we will if not hopefully we will see that character somewhere else. We are not doing CRT but will have a princess breakfast in Norway. IF we see Cindy somewhere okay and if not okay. I am actually hoping that my girls are happy with pictures and not wanting to do the chase for athographs.

You can definitely get autographs at the character meals! And I agree with the idea that it can eliminate the need to stand in line in the parks for autographs. I don't think that's the main reason to do the meal - but if you're going to do the meal anyway, then yes, you can save time on the autographs.

That's part of my plan for the next trip. I want to do Akershus and CRT - so I'm not planning to do any serious character hunting in the parks until the last couple of days of our trip. So we will only have to wait in line for the ones we didn't see at the meals.
