we decided to switch out one of our MK days for an additional day in epcot to drink around the world :drinking1

this means that i had to switch our crystal palace dinner ADR around. we're going to chef mickey's for "breakfast" at 12:25 pm on our MVMCP day and then we'd be doing CP for dinner the next night. will this be too much? i haven't done character meals in a few years and dbf has never done any. another option is to do chef mickey's and then do CP for breakfast on our departure day later in the week, though i was interested in trying their dinner food. i'm flexible, though.

It would not be a problem for us but we have done 2 character meals in 1 day. I am planning 3 to 4 in our next 5 day trip. I want to try them all! Good luck!

It's not been too much for DH and I.

If you like salmon, CP has a great salmon on their lunch and dinner buffet.

If it weren't for our DD, I doubt we'd do more than one character meal during our trip. We like Akershus, so that would be it for us. But thats just my opinion. From your ticker, looks like you are staying at AKL...are you doing breakfast at Boma? It's high on our todo list if we stay at AKL in the future.

While I don't think there is such a thing as too many character meals, I do think there is such a thing as too many Disney buffets in a row!! We try to space out the buffets as best we can because after two or three they are all the same!

My family averages one character meal per day while at WDW. We love them!

Nope, no problem at all but you are talking to a family that loves character meals. We sometimes do 2 character meals in one day. When we are there in January we are doing CRT dinner on arrival day, then Akershus breakfast the next day, then Crystal Palace Breakfast the following day, and lastly we are doing Cape May Cafe Breakfast on the next day after that. That is a totally of 4 character meals in 4 days :cool1: Character meals is a great way to meet the characters without having to wait in a long line at the parks.

We are doing character meals every day we are there on our next trip (7 days). We LOVE character meals and the way they kind of "force" you to take a break and relax.

We like to schedule a "late lunch" between 1:30pm - 2:30pm and make that our big meal of the day.
