Character Meal

Is doing a character meal worth it? How do you go about figuring out which one to do and what are the costs? We have 4 kids under 6 years.

We also have four kids and have been going to Disney yearly since they were 2, 3, 4 and 7. We always get the Basic Dining Plan and we always do a lot of character meals. I mean there's just no way I would feed my kids for $11.00 per day at Disney without the DDP. It's the best and all of the character meals are included, so we don't really have to worry about the price.

Honestly if we had not included many character meals (5 I think) on our trip we would not have seen hardly any characters at all. Although they are in the parks we didn't want to spend the time waiting in line for them and the character meals brought them to us. My kids didn't eat much the entire trip so the character meals were no exception but it did make for fun meals and nice breaks in the day.

We did the DxDDP so the meals were covered. I agree with pp that since the DDP price is less than a meal for the kids ADD it! It was such a convience for us!!
