Character meal with random characters?

Hi!

I was wondering if any of the character meals have random characters in attendance or are they all set so never any varience? Which meals offer the most for characters?

I've gotten spoiled in DL that 2 of the character meals the characters are more random. At one of them I've seen up to 10-11 characters during my meal.

For the most part I believe the characters are pretty much set. That's how people plan their ADR's. Having said that, we went to 1900 Park Fare for breakfast expecting to see the Mad Hatter & got Belle instead. Sometimes substitutions have to be made. The princesses at Akershus also rotate. Not sure about CRT as we haven't done that one.

Only the princess meals have some element of randomization, as different princesses may show up. However, they usually don't change princesses in mid-meal, so the same four or five princesses will likely be roaming around while you eat. I think the element of randomness there is from day to day, not from hour to hour.

At the big head character meals, they're pretty much set unless there needs to be a substitution for some reason.

Actually, the princesses at the princess dining in Norway is the same all the time. The only times there are changes is if someone is sick, then they might bring in someone else like Mary Poppins or Pocahontas. Sometimes if you're lucky though, the princess might have their prince with them

Thanks for the info. I'd love to find the Princes out but I'm not likely to book that meal anyways.

What I was referring to isn't just different princesses. In Disneyland there are 2 charachter meals where who you see is random with the exception of a couple of characters.

For example my last time at Goofy's Kitchen I saw: Goofy, Pluto, Chip & Dale, Snow White, and Aladin. The time before that I saw Goofy, Pluto, Rafiki, Captain Hook, Minnie, Fairy Godmother...

At Minnie's it is even more random. I've seen Brer Fox, Captain Hook, Geppetto, Fairy Godmother, Minnie, Chip, Dale, Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger, Rabbit, Rafiki, Max, Brer Bear, and others!

I wasn't sure if there were any at WDW that had any that were a mix of characters but I guess they are all set, you either have Princesses, Fab 5, or Winnie the Pooh?
