I would like to do a character meal with my son who just turned 2. Is there a meal that has Mickey Mouse at it? I have been looking at the Dining Reviews on All Ears and not one person has said that Mickey was at their meal. Mickey is my son's favorite character and that will really influence where we choose to eat.

No meals with Mickey.

The only eating time he shows up is at the Pat E Cake aka Happiest Birthdays on earth celebration thing, where you pay 15+ bucks per person for a decorate-your-own little cake. But I'm not even sure that *that* is guaranteed...

FWIW, it's never been an issue. Mickey's out and about all over the place, at least during our trips, it's easy to meet him. And possibly it's easier for a little bit like yours to handle a "there's mickey, let's meet him, now let's do something else" situation, rather than a "mickey's in the room I need to be with him the whole time" situation. :) That's how it would be with DS, if DS had liked characters when he was 2.

Thanks for the quick response! That's good to know. We went to WDW in June and we did our first character meal with Pooh & Friends. It was a huge success. I was really hoping to find something at Disneyland with the 5 main "Mickey Mouse" characters this time.

He was a little timid around the characters when we would stand in line. By the time he was warming up our turn was over. But at the meal he could see them across the room and watch them as they approached him. It made him more relaxed and ready to greet them.

Thanks again for your opinion. :goodvibes
