We're using the dining plan and trying to decide if it's worth it to do a character meal with our son--he wouldn't be into the princess thing and doesn't like the scarier characters--any ideas/suggestions?

WE love the Crystal Palace with Pooh and friends. Al very close second choice would be Liberty Tree Tavern with Chip & Dale, Goofy, Minnie Mouse.
Good luck!

Our 4 year old loved Breakfastasaurus at AK - it worked out well b/c we did breakfast and we were right there for all of the dinoland things. :earsboy:

Definately worth it. My choices in order:

Crystal Palace - Pooh and friends, any meal
Breakfastosaurus - Donald, Mickey, Goofy, Pluto, breakfast only
Chef Mickeys - Mickey and friends (have seen Max, Goof, Donald, Daisy, Minnie, Chip, Dale) breakfast or dinner
Liberty Tree Tavern - Minnie, Goofy, Chip and Dale, dinner
'Ohana - Mickey and friends, breakfast
Cape May - Minnie and friends, breakfast

He'll love it!!

My grandsons (now 3 and 5) are big fans of Chef Mickey's and Donald's Breafastasauraus at the AKL.

Another vote for Donald's Breakfastasaurous in AK. Both my daughter and son (4 year old twins) loved it and actually ate a full meal! The food was fresh and had several healthy options (fruit, yogurt, etc.) as well as the fabulous fatty foods. The characters were friendly and the servers were excellent.
