Hi,
We are thinking of going in Oct. this year and taking advantage of MNNSHP for the 1st time. I have been reading about it, and I see that you can get PS for dinner between 5-7, and then not have to leave the park for re-entry to the party. This sounds like a good plan, but I was wondering if all of the usual character meals are offered, and if so, which would you recommend? Thanks!

I think I read that LTT was the only one open prior to the party. Anyone else know more than I do?

We ate at the Crystal Palace on 10-31-01 at 5:35PM. We were able to stay in the park prior to MNSSHP. We will be returning this year for our honeymoon!!

Thanks for the replies. Can anyone offer a comparison of the two? In terms of food, service, Halloween theming?

Last year was the first time they let you book the restaurant WHEN you bought your tickets even if it was 4 or 5 months early, and the ONLY one you could book at that time was LTT. Then at 60 day or 120 other restaurants opened up too and you could book them as well.

We did the package where you book LTT right when you buy your tickets. It was a nice American dinner. They bring the food to your table vs. Crystal Palace is a buffet. If I had to choose by food, it might be Crystal Palace because I like buffets. LTT has Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale and they dressed in costumes!!! I don't think the Pooh gang at Crystal Palace dress up.

What was nice about LTT is as soon as we walked out to wait for the party to start, we got the photo line right next to the restaurant. We were first in the line as it wasn't even 7:00p yet. Then once they let us go, we went to do Haunted Mansion on Halloween with NO wait. Then it started to get packed and the Trick or Treat lines 'seemed' long but they went VERY fast. It wasn't a problem at all.

Sorry I rambled on!;)

We ate at LLT at 5:00 p.m. before the MNSSHP this past October. It was great! The servers and characters were all dressed up and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend it!
