Character Meal Decisions!

Can anyone tell me more about the Akershus Princess Storybook Dinner? My parents decided to join us for our trip as a surprise to our kids, so we had to rebook a couple of dinners to accommodate the addition of 2 people; Garden Grill couldn't up our ressie to 8, so we booked the Storybook Princess Dinner (our 5 YO daughter will be over the moon! She loves the princesses!)

We've never done the Princess breakfast or dinner @ Akershus, just Cinderella's. I know about the food... we ate there several years ago before they changed it to the Princesses. Food was good, IMO, but I have a weird palate.

What are your experiences? Anything else you can tell me?

We loved Akershus for Dinner when we went in May. The cold buffet had some great things on it and the food was surprisingly good IMO. I am a terribly picky eater (steak and potatoes kind of girl) and I thought it was one of the best meals we had, characters and food included.

And for an update, I THINK we've finalized our ADR's for this trip. Well, we still need to decide on CP breakfast before opening or dinner, but that's another story We decided on Ohana's breakfast over Chef Mickey's this time for something different...

So now we're doing:

Dec. 14 Cinderella's Gala Dinner @ GF @ 5:55pm
Dec. 15 Storybook Princess Dinner @ Akershus @ 4:55pm
Dec. 16 Crystal Palace @ either 8:15am or 4:30pm
Dec. 18 Ohana's Best Friends Breakfast @ 10:25am

The only one of that list that we've done is Akershus...we're really looking forward to the rest of them

We are also going to eat at Planet Hollywood just for fun on Dec. 17 for lunch using the voucher and paying OOP for the remainder on that one....

Hopefully now we can stick with these!!
