Been trying to convince my mother to get this thing because it'll help a lot in the parks with characters, but...I don't really know that much about it. Is it worth the seven dollars? My mother's also protesting that 'my internet doesn't work well in the parks'...when in reality it's just MDE being MDE, which is the only thing we use in the parks that doesn't work in them.. so, is it worth it, and have any of you experienced difficulties with it in the parks? Thanks!

I have it and loved it for our Oct. trip last year. It helped us accomplish so much more than if we didn't have it. It worked great.

yes, it's worth it IMO. We were in MK for example - the times guide did NOT have Snow White and Aurora listed - but I hopped onto Kenny's site (no problems connecting) and looked for them - lo and behold he had the exact times and locations. We went over to Aurora's meeting place - found the line and met her. Did the same for Snow when we were done with Aurora. It's really handy to have the exact times the characters are out - a lot of the times guide times say something like 9:15 - 1:00 intermittently - which is a little less than helpful. Kenny has exact times from x - y then you can see their "break" and from a - b etc. We'll be getting the character locator (our subscription is about to expire) for our trip in September

Yes! Glad to hear you are getting the subscription. Signed up for KTP Character Locator for our trip this December. We fit in 24 M&G over our 6-day stay, and never waited longer than 20 minutes at any one. The locator app helped us show up at the right times to avoid long lines and character breaks. I plan to use it again for our next trip. No problems with the app in the parks - because it's not a download, but a web-based application. If you can get on the internet, you can access the "app".

It's 7 freakin' dollars. Not 70. Supports a small business and gives you a bit of info in return. Even if you just use it once. So yeah, worth it

7 dollars is kinda a lot to us...the parks take that chunk that say 'oh 7 dollars isn't that much' out of my mum, haha.

Google is your friend. Otherwise pay the 7 bucks to support k the p. A bunch of great folks out there creating tools that Disney should have in the first place. I donated to that Dining Calculator years back.

I paid for the subscription but how do I access it from my phone? Is there an app I should download?
