I need a little help with my FP selection. Were visiting MK on Wed. October 15th. Not recommended, but also not not recommended by easywdw with a 5 crowd level. Im traveling alone with my (then) 21 month old son who is around 33 inches, so there are plenty of rides we wont be able to do as rider swap isnt an option. Were going to MNSSHP the next evening and planning on doing most rides then, so I want a mix of rides and character meets. We are going to RD and my priorities are: A&E (only if I can get a FP), M&G with Rapunzel, Ariel, Peter Pan, Mickey, Minnie/Daisy, Goofy/Donald, and Tinkerbell, as well as ride HM, JC, PotC and Buzz. Secondary rides are IASW, Under the Sea, and Winnie the Pooh. I also have an ADR at CP at 1:05.
My current choices for FP are A&E, Cinderella/Rapunzel, and Buzz. Im hoping to get a 4th or maybe more for Mickey, PotC, or JC in the afternoon - I'll only need them for one person so I think that should increase my options, but also don't want to put too much faith into getting them. TouringPlans tells me I *should* be able to accomplish all of this by 3pm or so using RD and FP.
My questions: is C/R a waste of a FP? Should I pick something else like JC and hope to get it as a 4th? Im just unsure how readily available character M&Gs are as additional FPs. TouringPlans says there will only be a 5 min. wait for C/R at 9:12 am, but I feel that is way off with the new crowd rush to Fantasyland at RD.
Also, should I stack them 9-10, 10-11, 11-12, and then try to get more afternoon FPs? Or schedule them after 11am when the park gets crowded? (Knowing Ill be busy 1-2:30 and my son will probably be finished for the day by 6pm)
