Character Greetings Throughout WDW -- NOT Character Dining

Does anyone know of a somewhat reliable list somewhere of the "Potential" character we may be able to find through out WDW? I'm not talking about at character meals, just random character greeting spots. I want to make a "scavenger" hunt of characters for my two son's for when we come to WDW 4/27 - 5/4 so we can play with trying to find them throughout our stay. I know that nothing is carved into stone as far as who is out when, just would like to get some sort of ideal of who we can even "expect" to maybe see? hopefully this makes sense. If noone is aware of a character greeting list, can you share w/ me some of the names of characters seen on more recent trips? Thank you!

Animal Kingdom

Camp Minnie Mickey (CMM) always have a Bunch. Change through out the day. Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Minnie, Koda, some unique ones.

Just outside of the Isle Merchantile near the path to CMM (still on Discovery Island) Lilo and Stitch hang out there. Down the path toward CMM I've seen Chip and Dale there don't remember if it was before or after the bridge?

In Africa on the backside of the Tamu Refreshments you'll find King Louie and Baloo...and sometime "Devine" Lady dressed up like a vine on stilts...neat but creepy.

Rafiki's planet watch I've seen Rafiki and some others.

There's a spot just outside of Dinoland USA on Discovery Island that has Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, and Piglet.

At the entrance I've seen some both in the morning at open and at close...also the taking Palmtree.

Magic Kingdom
Adventureland
See Aladdin, Genie, and Jasmine around the Flying Carpets.
Seen Rafiki, and others around the Swiss Family Tree House.
Seen Capt. Jack Sparrow, Capt. Hook, Mr. Smee, Peter Pan, Wendy. around Pirates of the Carribean. (I really like Peter and Wendy...you'd think you've met the real characters.)
Frontierland
Woody, Jesse, and Bullseye do a little show through out the day...but never really seen if they do pictures or autographs.
Just outside of the Country Bear Jamboree I've seen Briar Fox and Bear there.
Fantasyland
Seen Merlin, Mary Poppins near the Carosel.
Toontown
Everywhere.
Tomorrowland
Talking Trashcan outside Startraders
seen Buzz outside his ride...also Chip and Dale near there too.
Main Street USA
Seen Goofy and Max underneath the Flagpole.
Others around the circle of the Pole.
Mickey and Minnie on the Outside entance area just after opening.

I was just looking at this last night and you can really get an idea of where and when to find characters. Especially if you're looking for a specific character.

I have a very large spreadsheet(microsoftXL), that DD and I have been working on for years. We have not verified all the sightings, but have listed all the locations and characters I have been able to find on any other websites, and where we have found them.
Some of the characters are retired and locations may have changed, but it works for us.
Also check out www.wdwautographs.com they have alot of info and pictures from thier trips.
