Thor, Cap and A&E are all indoors, and basically fixed locations. Merida has her little set-up, but it could be relocated. That greet wasn't even listed in the times guide I got last week. I think at this point it would be ok to move her into the Royal Hall. As far as other face characters, if you're a regular, you start to notice that every time you see certain ones, they're always the same CM. I know they could hire multiple people to play those roles, but as a regular, I'm also ok if Fairy Godmother gets a summer vacation, so to speak. Isn't she mostly at character meals anyway? I have every confidence that another character will rotate in. As far as villains, it's nice that they're now year round, but it does make offering them at Halloween a little more special if they are more limited during the summer. Evil Queen is one who I see often, managing her own line, and never with an attendant. It's actually kind of fun watching her throw her cape and skirt around when people try to tail her offstage, creative use of being in character. But lately I've noticed other characters in her regular spots, so again, as a regular, it's nice to see the occasional shake up. I did see her at the entrance last week, and then a few days later Cinderella in the same spot.

Merida is an official princess, so I can't see her disappearing forever, maybe just moving to Fantasy Faire.

There is a new report (on the "other" board) that the Queen herself stated that she will be "banished" around the 15th.

Not all times are posted online. For example, you can't find the times for the Rapunzel and Belle shows on the calendar. I think Merida may be around a bit longer, though her movie is several years old. So if they did send her into the Fantasy Hall, it wouldn't be a big deal. Though, she isn't the same "kind" of princess.

I saw Mulan in there the other day, and she's not a princess at all in her movie. Not that I'm complaining, I like Mulan.

I do think the FG tends to be the same person, maybe two, but the Queen has multiple friends and the same person "hangs out" with her one, maybe two days a week, so the vacation aspect on her does not work. Also, she's not always out everyday anyway. Still, her presence will be missed!

I thought the missing dates were confirmation, but it looks like someone saw those and used them as a source. (That's always an issue with these types of posts without any references to where the information came from.) Merida's dates are now on the calendar weeks in advance, as would be expected.

That was me. I have a 2 year old niece who ADORES the Queen. Today, the Queen, who we had never met, showed her how to offer apples to the princesses. Priceless!

When we were there last (last November), Merida's line was nonexistent about 20 minutes after park opening. We'd never experienced that before (meeting her wasn't even on our agenda, as we only had one day, but we couldn't resist a walk-up meet and greet). Perhaps the demand isn't what it once was?

If this was true, it would be one thing, but they aren't doing that. A CM (take it for what it's worth) today said Aurora would be meeting at the Well this summer. Why she can't meet in PFF is beyond me...

They have added a version of Maleficent from the new movie. She doesn't have to be at the same location to be an equal trade off. I've met Aurora in a blue dress there before, but last week I saw Snow White.

My bet would be that it might be a staffing issue too...I would guess that with Maleficent in the park the Evil Queen's friends will still have jobs!
