I'm thinking about goofys kitchen for dinner..... is this one a good choice?

Our friends went in June for dinner and had a great time with no complaints.

They did this option because they arrived that afternoon, and weren't going into the parks until the next day...so it was a good opening activity for them.

Yea were getting there around noon on Oct 7th plan on going to dca first then do dinner. I made reservations for wine country traitors that night but I canceled because of all the mixed reviews. I'm bringing my friend and her 2yr old son (they've never been to dlr) so he's never seen any of the characters

We will be going for our 5th time to Goofy's Kitchen for dinner for our up and coming trip.. Very good food and lots of different characters to see.

We went thus past Saturday for dinner for a 5:10 reservation time. We loved the variety of food and seeing the characters. We saw goofy upon arrival for a photo OP. While seated there was Minnie, Snow White, Pluto, chip, dale, & Alice.

The rotation of characters DON'T make sense to me. Minnie, Snow White, & Alice came 3 times. We had to ask the server about the other characters. We were in the restaurant for about 1 hour 45 minutes because we were trying to get the other characters. Finally, Chip came so we gave up.

I even had to remind the server about DD's birthday for the song & cupcake.

Bottom line: would I do this again? Not sure. Service and character experience is what makes the expensive pricing worth it. I think I'd rather stick with chip n dales breakfast and surfs up with Mickey. Those were great for us!
