Character dinners?

Could someone please tell me about the character meals? Do you have to sign up for them? Are there any besides the princess one. my boy is not really into princesses!! Is it just a restaurant and the characters walk around? Any DETAILS would be great!

first www.allearsnet.com is agood place to find out about any meal

character meals are meals where different characters come to your table ( cirlce around i should say, they don't sit with you.) so you can take pictures ect . most are buffets or allyou can eat deals.

they have different characters, lke Cyrstal palace has pooh and friends..allears tells what they serve and who visits during the meal

and yes you do need to make reservations( called adr) which you can do no sooner than 90 days before your trip. the phone number is probably on allears also

on the home page of this site you'll see "dining" click on that and under discussion forums( left column about 1./ 2 way down) are reviews/ratings and you can see what people thought of each character meal
