Character dining

Apologies if this question seems obvious to some, but I am about to make our advanced dining reservations for October (the time has finally arrived!!), and I just want to be clear before I book anything.....mainly to avoid disappointed children when we get there......we are going to book Goofy's Kitchen and Ariel's Grotto.

My queries are..... Characters are at Goofy's Kitchen for breakfast until what time??
And.....princesses are definitely at Ariel's Grotto at lunchtime?? Or only breakfast??

Sorry if this seems obvious to you, but I just needed clarification!!

I haven't done Goofy's for a while. Last I knew, Goofy's breakfast went until noon on weekdays and 2 PM on weekends and holidays. In theory, characters stay until the end, but I personally would be concerned about getting enough character interaction if I took the last reservation slot.

Ariel's has princesses during breakfast and lunch.

When we went to Goofy's kitchen last year, we had a 11AM reservation. We had no problem with character interaction. We saw 8 characters and had lots of interaction. We were not far from the door where the come and leave from and I was constantly seeing rotating characters leave and come back in.

One more question......I see characters are at dinner at Goofy's Kitchen, as well as at breakfast time.

Just trying to decide whether breakfast or dinner would be a better option for us to meet the characters and dine. We will have 2,5 and 7 year old children with us.
Any preferences?? Or advice you can share??
