What characters can I find at each of the character dining locations? The DL website doesn't say much about who is at each one. I know the princesses are at Ariel's Grotto but that is all I know.

The characters rotate at each of the restaurants so you're never really guaranteed as to who you'll see, but here are my experiences:

Ariel's Grotto: Cinderalla, Belle, Snow White and Aurora

Goofy's Kitchen: Goofy, Pluto, Chip & Dale, Jasmine, Cinderella, and Baloo

Minnie & Friends: Minnie, Fairy Godmother, Max, Captain Hook, Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, Brer Fox, Chip & Dale

What about at PCH Grill? I haven't been for breakfast in a while and heard the characters changed.

PCH Grill used to have Lilo, Stitch, Minnie (in Hawaiian dress) and sometimes Daisy (also in Hawaiian dress). Now they have Mickey (this is the only Character meal with Mickey), Stitch, and I don't remember who else. But Mickey and Stitch are for sure there. :thumbsup2

Oh, and...edited to add, for the OP:

The Storyteller's breakfast has Chip & Dale and some of the "wilderness/forest" Characters, like Baloo and the Brother Bear Characters.

To add to what PPs have already said . . .

At Goofy's you get a mix but Goofy and Pluto are always there. We have seen Minnie, Snow White, Cinderella, the Fairy Godmother, Sleeping Beauty, Jasmine, Prince Phillip, Chip, Dale, Mulan, and several others at GK.

I think we have seen the exact same princesses every time at AG - the ones PPs already mentioned.

We were at PCH in March (for the newish "Surf's Up" breakfast and we saw Mickey, Stitch and Minnie. I think Chip and Dale too.

At Storyteller's we have seen Rafiki and Turk in addition to the others already mentioned.

Hope that helps! :)

When we were at the Plaza Inn breakfast last month, we saw Minnie, Tigger, Eyore, Chip, Dale, Captain Hook, The Fairy Godmother, and Max (Goofy's son)

Hi all,

I'm a huge character hunting person who last went to DL 25 years ago. I'm planning a quick trip with the kids in February so I wanted to re-check this thread and find out if the characters have changed for when we go. Has anyone who has recently been seen any new characters or any that haven't been seen since last reported (July, 2010)?

belive it or not my hubby wants to go to every charcter meal this time

We have been to Goofy's 5 or 6 times. Here are the characters we can remember: Goofy, Max (Goofy's son), Pluto, Minnie, Chip, Dale, Cinderella, one of the mice from Cinderella, Snow White, Belle, Aurora, Mulan, a prince, Alice, Mad Hatter, Gepetto, and Baloo.

We have only been to Storyteller's once. We saw Chip and Dale, Koda from Brother Bear, Brer Bear, and a guy dressed up as a park ranger.

We went to the Paradise Pier breakfast when it was still Stitch's. We saw Stitch, Lilo, Pluto, Minnie, and Daisy.

This is from November.

Goofy's (2 visits): Pluto, Chip and Dale, Goofy. (Both times.) Belle in peasant dress (both times), Jasmine. Baloo and one character I can't remember anymore.

It seems to be always the first four, two female characters (could be anyone from Minnie over princesses to Alice) plus X. We've seen a lot of characters ranging from Gepetto to Aladdin.

PCH Grill: Mickey (at the photo station at the entrance), Pluto, Stitch, Daisy, Max, Minnie.

Storytellers: Chip, Dale, Kenai, Koda, Meeko, Terk.

Ariel's Grotto: Ariel (at photo stop), Belle, Aurora, Snow White, Cinderella.

Minnie's: Minnie, Fairy Godmother, Chip, Dale, Hook, Tigger, Eeyore, Pooh and what made me absolutely delighted: the White Rabbit.

At AG we have also seen Mulan and Pocahontas. Of course we didn't see some of the other Princesses when we saw those 2, they do rotate them, but it was really neat to see other Princesses that aren't as mainstream. We were very excited to see Pocahontas. :)

I was there in September and was just walking by BTMR and saw Pocahontas pop out from one of the mystery tunnels. I basically chased after her (:rotfl: what a fangirl!) and got a picture with her! It was a pleasant surprise!

Anyways back to topic.
For a wider collection of characters, try Goofy's Kitchen. If you are very intent on the Princesses, then Ariel's Grotto :)

I can't give advice on the other restaurants as I haven't been to them, sorry!

We did PCH Grill on the 13th. We saw Mickey, Minnie, Stitch, Daisy, and Pluto.

When ds did Minnie's 2 1/2 years ago with his grandparents they had a wider variety of characters. I remember he met Minnie, Captain Hook, Alice, Eeyore, Chip and Dale, Gippetto, and Tigger.

We saw Aladdin at GF too.

AWW I want DD to see her!!

So just to clarify: Ariel is not at Ariel's Grotto? My DD7 is a huge fan and we've been to lots of character meals at WDW, but haven't been to DLR in quite awhile. I may skip that one if Ariel is not there.

Also, when making resv., do you have to call several days in a row? Meaning, if our dates are 5/30-6/6 and we want to go to Minnie's on 5/31, we call on 3/31 and then call on 4/2 to make a resv. for 6/2 for Blue Bayou? :confused3

Sorry, DL is a little foreign to me, but I'm super excited and want to make sure we have all the info!!:thumbsup2

Also, when are the best times to be seated at Blue Bayou that you will probably not have a super long wait for a table by the water?

ariel is there when you walk in she takes a pic with you its the one in my count down

Of course Ariel is at her Grotto, it wouldn't be much of an Ariel's Grotto without her. :) You will see a total of 5 Princesses, Ariel when you enter and walk down the stairs, then 4 more random Princesses will visit your table. :)

OK, good!!:thumbsup2

The funny thing is when we went to DLR in 2005, we did the Lilo/Stitch breakfast. Lilo never appeared!! This was our first ever character breakfast, so we figured that was just the way it was and didn't ask any questions. We figured the kids still had a ball with the other characters!!

I think someone was just explaining that for the World of Color dinners at Ariel's Grotto, you don't get to see all the princesses like you do during breakfast and lunch. ;)

Is there a menu somewhere for each of the Character dining? Would like to see what they have there to eat for the kiddos before I a make our reservations. TIA
