Hello,

I have decided on Minnies Breakfast on one of our days, but I want to get in as many character dinings as possible. I will be with my dad and my boyfriend so Ariels Grotto is out of the question, even though I would love some of their bagels with the different spreads :cloud9:, I am thinking Goofys Kitchen dinner?

Any ideas:)

Well Tink91, I'm a huge advocate of goofy's kitchen's brunch. I have not eaten dinner there in years. I really should try it.

Brunch or dinner i think goofy's is the way to go.

We really enjoyed the character breakfast at The Storyteller Cafe in the Grand Californian. You get to see Chip & Dale, Koda and Kenai, and Miko from Pocohontas. It is a buffet or you can order from the menu.

We loved loved loved Minnies kitchen chracter interaction. Teh food was OK but the characters were awesome. I was very impressed.

Goofy's the food was better but the character interaction left something to be desired. they weren't as friendly or attentive and it wasn't as full at Goofy's as it was a Minnies.

Trying Storytellers in January.

We did Goofy's twice! We also did Storytellers, Breakfast with Minne, and Lilo and Stitch. I wouldn't do Storytellers or Minne's again, we didn't care for the layout of the places. It was just confusing and very hard to get around and navigate, compared to the other places. Goofy's had a great variety of food and my wife liked Lilo and Stitch the best. Dale remembered our son from Goofy's and had to let us know when we were in the park, that was great. Our son had shreaded cheese and black olives for breakfast, like I said, a good variety of food.

please excuse the dumb question, but where is minnis breakfast?

Minnie's Breakfast in the Park is at the Plaza Inn. Soon as you enter the "hub", turn right and it's right there. If I remember correctly Walt ate breakfast there a lot, so that was the special part for us.

I'd go to Ariel's Grotto without the kids. :) Seriously....the food there is good!! In fact, I think I might call them today to book something for our Thanksgiving visit.....

I just wanted to chime in about character meals. I've done breakfast at Minnie's, brunch at Goofy's and lunch at Ariel's. The food at Ariel's is easily the best character meal food I've had at either Disneyland or WDW.

So, even if your bf and father don't enjoy the princess thing, I think they'll enjoy the lunch or dinner at Ariel's more than they would enjoy the other meals. Plus, Ariel's is not a buffet, so the food is brought out to you.

I loved the breakfast at Ariels Grotto, it was so yum, I am just a little worried because my boyfriend is gluten intolerant so all he would be able to eat would be the fruit, eggs and bacon and he wouldn't feel comfortable paying $30+ for that.

Is there an email I can send my questions through to from Goofys Kitchen, Ariels Grotto and Minnies about this?

Sorry for all the questions :headache:

But the beauty of AG is that he can ask for all he wants of those items......my BFF has Celiac's, she eats there with us and just eats the fruit, eggs & bacon. It's all he can eat eggs, bacon, fruit, potatoes, the only thing he'd have to avoid is the bread/pastries. It could very well be worth it for him.

Wow, so if he wants some more bacon for example, he could just ask and it wouldn't cost any extra?

Exactly, you just ask for more and they bring it out. :) You also get sausage and iirc we got ham too. You also get all you can drink, so if he's drinking coffee or juice he gets all he wants.

LOL and who knows, maybe he will want to go look at a bunch of pretty Princesses....LOL My DBF loves Jasmine, he's like a kid in a candy store when we go to AG and she walks out! LOL
