Character dining

Where can I find info on character dining at Universal? We're going the end of June & I can't find locations, characters, etc.

Islands of Adventure has a character breakfast at Confisco Grille with Spiderman, Cat in the Hat, and Thing 1 and 2.

The resort hotels have character dining on selected mornings/nights, but you'll have to check the hotel restaurants on their websites. Most of them have Scooby Doo, and I can't remember who else. There's also a character breakfast at the SeaWorld resort with the Sesame Street characters.

The character breakfast at UIOA looks awesome and the price is right, too, but the main drawback for me is that it doesn't open until park opening. I'm not going to waste the first hour eating when I could be going on rides with no lines! I wish they had a character lunch or dinner there instead.

My feelings exactly! This is why we are not doing character breakfast when we are there in June.

If you don't have little kids, the character breakfast probably would be a waste of time. But for my six-year-old little boy who is obsessed with Spiderman , it was as good as/better than a ride. And watching him have a conversation with one of his heroes was great for us. Another reason it was a great experience for us is that we went in January with no crowds to compete with. So if you ever go with little ones during the slow season, it's very worthwhile. Otherwise, you're better off going on the Spiderman ride or the Hulk as many times as you can.
