No character dining at Liberty Tree Tavern? Is that for good?

Last trip we did Crystal Palace, Garden Grill and Tusker House. All excellent!

You might want to try the character breakfast at Cape May Cafe in the Beach Club. It's not as popular as Chef Mickey's so it usually isn't crowded, therefore you don't feel rushed. The buffet had a great selection of foods, and the character interaction was good. When we were there Goofy, Minnie, and Chip stopped by at our table for pictures and autographs.

Scrappinmom I WISH!!! So, yes, the princess thing is out of the question. One of these years I may have to kidnap my DN and take her with us so MOMMY can do the princess thing

I went to the breakfast by myself, and am (ageless) but young at heart!
Had a great time, and the characters still talked with me, even though I had
no appendages with me! Go and enjoy! My girls didn't want to do the breakfast thing, they are too "old"! Get with the program, it's fun~

Another vote for Crystal Palace. I'm actually going to be there twice this trip. Great way to start the day if you can get an early breakfast.

As far as the 8 year old being too old, my DH still gets excited to meet Tigger! He tries to play it cool but I know him too well
