What restaurants have character dining experiences? I know a few: Akershus, Chef Mickey, Crystal Palace, Hollywood & Vine, Tusker House, Cinderella's Royal Table. Am I missing any? Thanks in advance!

Cape May breakfast, 1900 Park Fare breakfast and dinner, Ohana breakfast, Garden Grill dinner, and I think there is a breakfast at the Swan or Dolphin on the weekends. And you can meet the Beast for pics after BOG dinner

There's also a character breakfast at the Four Seasons that opened in Orlando.

. . . Akershus Royal Banquet
. . . 1900 Park Fare
. . . Garden Grill
. . . Ohana
. . . Garden Grove
. . . 1900 Park Fare
. . . Chef Mickey's
. . . Cape May Café
. . . Hollywood & Vine
. . . Cinderella Royal Table
. . . Crystal Palace (barely enough time for a photo)
Best Atmosphere (surroundings and ambiance):
. . . Cinderella Royal Table
. . . Tusker House
. . . Akershus Royal Banquet
. . . Ohana
. . . 1900 Park Fare
. . . Garden Grill
. . . Crystal Palace
. . . Hollywood & Vine
. . . Cape May Café
. . . Garden Grove
. . . Chef Mickey's

NOTE1: Results are listed from best to worst. Overall, Tusker House wins due to best
food and the length of time the characters stay at each table. A close second is 1900 Park
Fare. By far, Chef Yuckey's is the loser, due to mediocre character interaction and almost
terrible food quality. The very distant second worst is Cinderella Royal Table, for brief
time at tables by characters and the new menu.

Very thorough! Thanks for posting this!!

Is Ohana breakfast good? BOG lunch quick service - does the beast make an appearance or wonder through at all?

Thanks

The 'Ohana breakfast was VERY good.

No, the Beast doesn't appear at lunch at all.

Thanks so much! We were Ohana a million years ago for dinner (when the menu was different and before Lilo & Stitch had come out)

We'll see the Beast in France then ....

Unfortunately, the Beast no longer regularly meets with Belle in Epcot :(

Ohana breakfast is delicious and served family style. 1900 Park Fare breakfast is delicious with Mary Poppins, Alice, Mad Hatter, Pooh and Tigger. Chef Mickeys is terrible food quality and rushed character interaction. Tusker House has delicious food at lunch and nice character interaction.

At the Swan, Garden Grove also has a nightly character dinner (in addition to weekend character breakfasts).

There is also character interaction at Mickey's Backyard BBQ. It is DDs favorite.

H&V has characters for Breakfast & Lunch, but not for dinner. However, from May 4-June 16th it's turns into a Character Dinner with a Star Wars Theme.

Here are links to my photos from each character location. I've eaten at all Disney owned restaurants, but have not ventured to Swan or Hilton yet.

WDW CHARACTER DINING

Thanks for the insight -- I know BOG lunch is QS -- I just had wondered if the beast was wondering around or outside etc...
We've never been to Tusker House, so I am thrilled with all the good reviews I'm getting.
I have had some people tell me Hollywood & Vine isn't good. We're doing the Fantasmic Dinner there. My family isn't big on Italian (so no MM) and I don't want to use 2 TS for Brown Derby. Any HV thoughts here?

Afraid not, Beast is only seen inside the restaurant at dinner. If you just want to see him from afar, then you can see him in Festival of Fantasy, Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage, or Fantasmic.

I enjoy H&V, to me it's on par with most other buffets on property. I see your trip is planned for June, there's a big difference (in atmosphere & cost) between dinner there during SWW and after.
