Character Dining Help

I would go with Chef Mickey's or the Garden Grill.

I am thinking that we will try to do Cape May, Crystal Palace, 1900 Park Fare, and Tusker House for breakfast. We are going to try to get to Hollywood and Vine for lunch. Now I have to decide what to do about the princesses and Chef Mickey's. That's a lot of character meals. Anybody think this is too many?

I am not sure how many days you are going, but my experience is that character meals can be a little exhausting. First, many are buffets which means that DH and I are up and down getting our food, our kids food, etc. Then you need to time it so that you are not up when the characters come by. It is also a lot of interruptions to your meal as you stop, get autographs, take pictures, etc. I think it is great to get lots of characters at one meal, but it can also mean you have to wait a long time to see them all.

This is not to say that character meals are not great and worth doing, just be aware they can be a bit tiring, especially if you have a ton of them. FWIW, we typically try to do 2-3 over an 8 day period.

So far the character meals we have done are.. Crystal Palace, Garden Grill, Liberty Tree Tavern, and this trip we will be doing breakfast at Ohana.

Crystal Palace i think is cool (its a buffet with good food). You get to meet Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, and Piglet. The two times we ate there they didnt stay to long, but it was still nice to take pictures with them.

Garden Grill is in Epcot and it spins around while you eat slowly. You meet Mickey, Pluto, Chip, and Dale. I think the characters stay at your table for a pretty long time. (We just didnt like the food)

And Liberty Tree Tavern we havnt ate at since 2001, but what i rememeber was great! From what i remember you dine with Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Chip, and Dale.. but i could be wrong. Oh i also remember GREAT food!
