Well, we're about 73 days away from our trip - I just realized this. It's past time to make a character PS.

In the last two visits, we've dined at CRT and also at Chef Mickey's. We want to do something different this year. I'm considering the Cape May Cafe breakfast or Crystal Palace with Pooh and gang.

Does anyone know which would be better? We have two kids - ages 4 & 6. One boy, one girl.

I've never done Cape May, but I am a big Crystal Palace fan. We were there for lunch yesterday and had a hard time getting our 5 month old away from Tigger. I think the food is pretty good also. Yesterday they had curried vegetables and chicken in a mild curry sauce that they didn't have last time we were there. I was stuffed by the time we left.

I have done both. I did Cape May for breakfast this year and Crystal Palace for lunch.

Both are good, I liked Crystal Palace a little bit better though. You see Pooh and the gang.

At Cape May, you see Chip and Dale and Goofy and Minnie and they are in Beach attire.

We like Crystal Palace better. I have picky eaters and they found more they would eat at Crystal Palace.

We went to CP for lunch but I will say that I thought the character interaction was excellent. They spent lots of time as well as honoring a special request I had. I was very impressed with the wait staff we had also.

Definately Crystal Palace! We had breakfast at both on our trip in November. I thought the food was much better there (I love their french toast :cloud9: ) If you're picking Cape May Cafe because of the characters, I would suggest going back to Chef Mickeys - they had the same characters (plus Mickey) but I thought the food was much better there and a better selection than at Cape May Cafe.

You made a great choice! We just got back from WDW and had breakfast at the Crystal Palace. We loved it! The hashbrown casserole is yummy and the puffed french toast rolled in cinnamon and sugar was super yummy :D We saw the characters twice and did not feel rushed at all. We had a 9am PS and were not hungry until 5pm! We can't wait to do this breakfast again!

Crystal Palace

Pluses - better food choices, nice character interaction, Pooh and Friends (Min loves the Pooh bear)...

Minuses - bigger and noiser...

Cape May Cafe

Pluses - smaller more intimate setting, great character interaction...

Minuses - very limited choices on the buffet...

Cape May Cafe use to be our favorite character breakfast but since a change in the way the buffet setup limited the food choices, we would pick Crystal Palace over Cape May...

We done the Crystal Palace several times for lunch and it is delightful. The food is generally good and the characters do a great job of visiting everyone. One of my favorite spots!

thanx i am switching from cape may break to crystal palace. then we will be in mk since we are staying off property.
