Character dining at UO resorts?

Trying to provide advice to a friend. When we last visited UO in 2017, there were characters visiting some resorts’ restaurants. Could someone confirm that this has been discontinued and that only (non seasonal) Minion and Marvel specific dining buffets have characters visiting?

Yes, the Character dining in the hotels stopped a long time ago.

I have heard folks do the Marvel character dining and rate it highly for interaction, food not so much.
