Has anyone been here at the Lake Buena Vista Outlets? Are the prices really good?

We ALWAYS to go this outlet and the other either before we check in or soon after.

Most items are at least 50% off or more. My husband gets his polo shirts there for about $20 and I usually spend about $100 per visit.

It can be worth the trip. They sell stuff from the parks (official stuff) thats old (from the last year or two) at a very cheap price. When we were there earlier this year they had WDW2002 photo albums (I think the sticker was 12.99 or even higher) for 99 cents. Unfortunaltly I needed 2003 or 2004(of course) but I bought 2 of those (2002 ones) back in 2002.

The also sell imitation stuff (ya know "disney" shirts that are actually iron ons that wont last long, like all that hillfiger stuff you see, there's some cheap stuff there, but you get what you pay for)

BUT, they also have a few items that are exactly the same merchandise that is at WDW right now and it's close to(if not) half price. Last year it was the spinning light up message signs(hand held, different messages can be read when you twirl it in your hand) they were something like 12.99 in the park and If I recall correctly 4.99 at the store. And this year I was at the Emporium and passed on an ESPN/Walt Disney World hockey jersey. I really liked it, but it was 35 bucks and we were late in our trip (had spent alot of money already) but then they had the exact one at the character corner for 18. It was the only thing we bought there this year, but it was worth the stop.

I go to all four, but haven't in a few weeks.
A few items are the same price as the parks -- snacks, pin accessories, as examples. Some are bargains, and some are sale prices.
The stores are always worth a look! :)

For HRC fans -- one of the Belz outlets (Mall 2, I think) has a discount HRC store across the hall from the Disney store. TERRIFIC prices!

Where exactly are the stores located. We will have some time to kill on our next trip on the day we arrive and this sounds like a good idea.

The Belz Outlet malls are at the end of International drive. Just exit on Sand Lake like you are going to the Big McDonald's. Turn left at the light right past McD's. Go all the way to the end of the road. Go through the light, then go through the four way stop. After the stop sign the 2 malls are to your left. It's a dead end road, so you can't get too lost! Mall 1 and 2 each have a store. We also went to the outlet mall that is right on the interstate (next to Dixie Stampede) I can't remember what it is called. It is a nicer mall. (not an inside mall, the doors all open to the outside) Just go through the food court and out the other side. The store is right outside to your right. I was just there on March 13th and got a Mickey/Minnie Christmas sweater for $40. (I almost bought it at Christmas time for $80, so I was glad I waited!)

Happy Shopping!
