do they still do this? is it something you need to book individually as opposed to the character breakfast you can get as part of the package, because in the brochure it doesn't mention plaza gardens anymore, just says it will be in disney village

It's @ Cafe Mickey I'm sure ?

You could have the character tea party @ PLaza though

I think they stopped it now and just do cafe mickey.

There doesn't seem to be any mention of it anymore although I am sure they were doing it there last summer. Perhaps they only do it there at peak times? :confused3

TBH you're not missing anything. We did this last September and it was not a pleasant experience. Whereas in Cafe Mickey people stay and wait at their tables for the characters, at this brekkie everyone seems to rush up to the characters. It was bizarre! The CMs did nothing about it and it meant that some characters did not have enough time to visit all the tables: very frustrating!

At Easter the only character breakfast was at Cafe Mickey

Aye, we went to the character breakfast at the Plaza Gardens last year and thought it was great. Booked the breakfast again this year, but looking through the DLP website and information pack it seems like it'll be Cafe Mickey. But we like Cafe Mickey, so it's not going to be too much of a problem!

what is the character brekkie like, is it still just a continental one like in the hotel or is it with hot food too? Kids want to do cafe mickey but don't fancy it for dinner again so breakfast might be a good option

There was a massive choice of both hot and cold food. The usual croissants, pain au chocolat, bread rolls, cereals, sausages, eggs, bacon, smoked salmon, charcuterie as well as bread to make toast, muffins and other cakes, yoghurts, fruit and loads of drinks.
It was buffet style and you could go up as often as you wanted.

We really enjoyed it and it was a good way to meet the characters

:yay: :yay:

We still have it. (tea time)
(when its not "tea time" Plaza Gardens Restaurant is a buffet restaurant.)

I would advice you to come to cityhall to make a reservation.
(its free and we can make it for you in justa few min.)

kind regards, Faisj
