are doing the character breakfasts a good way to get into the park early? We dont have kids(cuz we are kids..lol) but i think DH may want to do one of the breakfasts(he is hinting) so...just as an aside....are there ever any adults ONLY(I mean a couple without kids) there/and.......do u get to the parks earlier?cuz I dont wanna spend time eating pancakes when I could be riding something cool....thanks!!!!!!

Yes, there are adults eating there without kids. If you get the first seating you could probably finish up before they drop the ropes. My experience with character breakfasts, though, is that they take longer in the parks. Longer to get seated and longer to complete. I preferred the one at the Beach Club for service, selection, and time and it's a quick entrance to Epcot via the Internatinal Gateway.

Yep, there were some at Crystal Palace when we were there last fall with our kids. That was one of our best meals, and we're going to do it on our trip without the kids this fall too. We make a PS for 8:05 or 8:10 on a day that the MK opens at 9.....

I agree with sters. We go to Crystal Palace almost everytime we go to WDW and we're all adults with no kids. It does take quite awhile to do the breakfasts in the park but it is pretty neat being in the park with hardly anyone else there but by the time we got out everyone was on the rides! :upsidedow But it's not like you can ride the rides before the park opens anyways :(

did u get finished before park opened?
The character breakfasts in the parks are designed to not be over until the park is officially open. If your only reason for choosing a character breakfast is to get into the park early, you'd be better off saving your money and being at the gates early. If you're at breakfast, you may actually get out of the restaurant after rope-drop, which means you'd be in the middle of a crush of people coming up Main Street.

CP is Winnie, Tigger, Roo and Piglet.
So the characters for breakfast are pretty much the same as dinner? Because that's who we saw for dinner last year.

I don't completely agree. Last year, we had an 8:05 PS at Cinderella's Royal Table, and got done with our meal (there were 11 of us) by about 8:45. We had time to stop and get pictures with the Fairy Godmother, head downstairs and be at the rope drop for Fantasyland at 9:00. Did Peter Pan, Pooh, Dumbo, Philharmagic, Small World, Snow White, and the Carousel in our first hour.

I'm sure it was much easier because we were at the castle as opposed to Crystal Palace, and maybe ours was a unique experience, but it worked great for us. So much so that we are planning to do the exact same thing on our October trip.

Now, I would agree that unless you get one of the very first PS times, you would not benefit from being in the park early. But as long as you get an 8:05 to 8:15 time, you should beat some of the crowds. :)
