going back to the world on the 7th of june 2004, our third visit in 2 and a half years. But this time our boys are of the right age (if there is one) to enjoy a character breakfast. So we are wondering where is the best venue for the breakfast and how do we go about booking it and being sure of getting in? we are staying at POR for one week and universals HRH for the second week and have booked through virgin.

We did this at Crystal Palace, with Winnie the Pooh and Friends. It was my birthday and they even brought me a cake with a candle in. Food was fantastic, fresh and plentiful. The characters came around twice and stopped for autographs and photos. We weren't rushed at all. We had a PS for 8.10 am.

I would recomend 1900 park fare at the Grand floridian, excellent interaction with characters, food is fantastic, buffet style help yourself, and if you want an omlette you pick what you want in it, and they cook it infront of you!!!, the best character breakfast we have had!.

book for 8.00 in the morning, and you will virtually have the characters to yourself.
Winnie the pooh, eeyore, tigger, mad hatter, alice in wonderland, and mary poppins is in the foyer greeting people.

We took our nephews to the buffet breakfast at Cape May Cafe (Beach Club) a few years ago and it was brilliant - lots of character interaction (Goofy, Pluto etc) and good food. Cost was $16.95 (I think) for adults and about half price for children.

Later in the week we took them to the Crystal Palace at MK but it was nowhere near as good. I think we just must have been unlucky because I know lots of people rave about it. We found it noisy, very busy and difficult to get the attention of the characters.

Another vote for Cape May's. This has now become a tradition for us each trip.

THANKS TO EVERBODY FOR YOUR INPUT. BUT IS THERE A CHARACTER BREKKIE / DINNER AVAILIABLE AT CINDERELLAS CASTLE. IF NOT ILL JUST BOOK 1900 PARK FAIR.

You shouldn't go much wrong with 1900 Park Fayre - it was the best character breakkie we'd done. The characters were fantastic, as was the food.

Will definitely be returning there:D

I've never done this myself, but from what I understand, breakfast at Cinderella's castle is one of Disney's 'hot tickets' and requires dedication to get a PS.

Basically, you book it 90 days in advance (exactly) and for the best chance, you ring as soon as the lines open on the east coast. I couldn't believe it when I once read that you don't even let the cast member finish their spiel - you interrupt and say you want to book 'Cindy's breakfast'. Apparently they understand this because the delay of a few second could mean failure!

As I've said, this is just what I have read and never tried. The other option is to show up and hope that they have some 'no shows' but this doesn't seem ideal if you have children looking forward to it who may be disappointed.

Hope this helps.
