I am scheduling a big family trip next year and have sat down with my family members to discuss which character breakfasts they would like to attend. They have chosen CRT (of course), Crystal Place, Donalds Breakfastosaurus and Cape May Cafe. Has anyone booked for this many people? Do you call and ask for a table for 18 or do you break it down to 3 tables of 6? Should we have several families call on the CRT day and ask for tables for 6 or should one person just ask for all 18 people? Thanks for any help!

I've never had the occasion to use it but perhaps Group Dining would be able to help you. Just a thought. 18 people...sounds like fun!

We, too, travel with family and we have 11 in our party. Last trip, Thanksgiving 2 years ago, was ate at CRT, Crystal Palace, H & V, Garden Grill, and Donald's. One person made each reservation. We just asked for 11 people. Of course, we were split into about 3 tables at each place, but just request that you be seated close together when you call. We were always at tables beside each other and it was a blast! We felt very fortunate to get CRT with this many people, hope we are again for the upcoming trip!
BTW- when making CRT res., we had 4 people calling and only 1 got the res. for all 11. Several of us took res. for 8 and 6 people and then cancelled. They said they did not have availablilty for 11 and asked if we would take 8 or 6- and we were willing. Our plan in this instance is that only the children and parents- not grandparents or aunt/uncle, will go. Good luck!

Thanks BCV23 and tink2, I will try group dining and check how that all works and at least now I know that I can just ask for all 18 people at one time!

We were just at Donald's Breakfastasourus and had one big table for 10 people. I think that it might depend on what time you schedule breakfast for. This was a later breakfast and we were all together as the place was starting to clear out. By the way a great choice the food was fantastic, hot and fresh! At the Princess StoryBook Breakfast we had two tables of 4 and 6 right next to each other. It was the first seating.
We have usually gone with 7-10 people and find that the restaurants usually try to get you at one table, even if it means pushing two together but not always. Also beware that they will try and squeeze extra chairs at tables, we got the same table at Chef Mickey's for 8 another trip and 10 people this trip. Have fun!

Actually the policy for many restaurants is that you request that when you arrive....and they will give you two options....first available which is the first tables available for your party size...not necessarily together...but as clos as they can get them without making you wait......and willing to wait...it could be up to 45 min wait, but you will be seated together.

When you make a PS they will actually tell you it is on two (or 3...)seperate tables and they cannot guarantee they will be together.

I never saw a party seated too far from each other....but they have to make sure you know it can happen.
