I was thinking of booking a character breakfast in the Magic Kingdom for our departure day of our honeymoon. I've heard that some people book these so they can be in the Magic Kingdom without crowds because it's a good picture opportunity. Is that true? Will we be able to stroll down Main Street before opening taking uncrowded pictures? Is CRT the only character breakfast in the Magic Kingdom? Do you think we'd look silly going there as two 23-year-olds without kids?

CRT is very hard to get into. Make sure you call first thing when you can to book the PS.

When DH and I visited Disney 4 years ago, we entered MK early on EMH because we did have a 9:30am PS for Crystal Palace. It was a WONDERFUL opportunity to get pictures in front of the castle without hundreds of people around! :goodvibes We got into MK at 8am and it was so nice walking down an empty Main Street and seeing an even emptier castle for some great photo ops.

CRT IS NOT the only character breakfast in the MK, there is also the Crystal Palace as I mentioned earlier, that's with Pooh and Friends. Why would you look silly being two adults at a character meal? DH and I were and we were visited not once, but twice by the characters and didn't feel rushed at all. It was such a neat experience and let me tell you why. On his second time around, Tigger (my favorite character) recognized me and placed his hands up to his cheeks and jumped up in a happy and surprised manner. He picked up my digital camera and gave it to my DH and pointed to himself and me and the camera wanting DH to stop eating and take our picture!!  I felt so special when he did that and it's a memory I will NEVER forget. I had on my full Tigger gear too: my Tigger ears, watch, socks, shoes, shorts, and shirt!! IT WAS AWESOME! :earboy2:

And so it shall be for you too whereever you decide to have your character breakfast. :teeth: Just make sure you schedule your breakfast on a day MK has EMH as you'll be amazed at some of the great pix you'll be able to take before the regular crowd comes in.

I do hope I've helped, and CONGRATS on your nuptials and honeymoon!

Blessings,

Denise :flower3:

Actually Paul and I do these frequently and we love The Crystal Palace breakkie and we are also kidless and over 23 ;)

We usually aim to get a nice early table on a day that doesn't ahve Early Magic Hour because that way you really do get Main Street and the hub to yourself and a headstart on all the other crowd.

We always schedule our MK character breakfast (whether CRT or Crystal Palace) on a day when MK DOES NOT have early morning hours. So, if the park opens at 9, you can have an 8am PS and be in there before the park opens to the rest of the World.

Yeah, we do it when there are NO early morning hours as well. You won't get free reign of the parks but you can take as many pics in front of the castle as possible!

Same goes for being the LAST reservation at night. My boyfriend and I had the ENITRE park to ourselves! We ate at CRT and when we looked up we realized we were the last people there (it was our first date). So we headed out and there was a man who walked us out of the park (probably because we were 20 and he wanted to make sure we actually left, or maybe they do it for everyone) ... well he was REALLY nice and he took some great pictures for us as we headed out of the park. We took 2 rolls of film just goofing off and posing in every way you could imagine. He was our personal photographer!

It's always nice to have pictures in front of the castle that don't have other people distracting from you!!!
