Howdy~
Are there character breakfasts on the Fantasy? If so, details, please. Do we sign up before the cruise?
Thanks and cheers.

If the Character Breakfast is offered on your cruise, when you go to the Reserve Activities page it will be listed on select sea days under On Board Fun, then under Character Greetings Requiring Tickets.

I didn't check that location when first booking activities for our upcoming European cruise because I didn't want Princess Gathering or Frozen Meet and Greet tickets. When I did look there a month ago, the breakfast was sold out, but more spots had opened up when I looked again last week. So, if you are unable to get tickets on your first try, keep checking as the cruise gets closer.

On our Magic cruise, the listing says "Disney VIP Character Breakfast" so I'm not sure if it will be Disney Junior characters.

It is Jake, Sofia, doc mcstuffins and Mickey
Thanks,again.

For their European/Transatlantic/Alaskan/Panama Canal cruises; the Magic and Wonder have the VIP character breakfasts with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Pluto.

Character Breakfasts are only on cruises of 7 or more nights.

Wow, wish it was. We're on the 11 night southern Caribbean next June. Thanks. pirate:

Basically, if it starts or ends at a foriegn port, it will be the VIP characters, otherwise it will be Disney Jr. And these only happens on cruises of 7 nights and longer.

Thanks. We're starting and ending our 11 day in PC. So sounds like Dis Jr. hoping at least Mickey is there.

Yes, you sign up online for it. Mickey is there, and some other characters. Faster paced than the ones at the park restaurants- they'll let you take a quick pic of your child seated with the character standing next to or behind. That's about it. Tables are randomly shared unless you request otherwise. Food is mediocre. But it is a way to meet a dressed-up character.

Thanks for the details. Probably should do it once.

I'll just mention that of the entire 7-day cruise last year, we had the worst food during the character breakfast. Think dried-out waffles, pasty pancakes, greasy unappetizing breakfast meats, and coffee that tasted like dish water... It didn't help that on our way back we had to walk past Royal, which looked like they were serving much better food.

The only positive was that it did give us a chance to get my elderly parents (who would never had stood in line for a character meet) in a picture with Mickey:-)

Come to think... that was still worth it!

I got our character breakfast tickets for our Sept. Fantasy cruise and told my daughter its The Disney Junior characters. She says "mom, they haven't watched Disney Junior in years."
I said well ask them and see if they want to go. She text me back, my 7 year old granddaughter said, "I will got meet Doc McStuffins so I don't break Grandmas heart.... LOL She's a real pip.
