Thinking about doing a Character Dinner or breakfast...looking for ideas on favorites...I think we will do Princess Storybook in Norway and would like to do one more, any suggestions?

We love the Crystal Palace... it is a wonderful way to start the day at the Magic Kingdom :)

We always do breakfast at the Crystal Palace with Pooh and Friends! I agree with PP that it's a great way to start the day at MK.
We also really enjoy the breakfast with Mary Poppins and Friends (Alice, Mad Hatter, Tigger and Pooh) at 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian.

we have done crystal place, and it's great, but we always do lunch, not breakfast, because DH LOVES the citrus marinated flank steak. my favorite breakfast so far has been tusker house at AK. it's a character meal buffet with donald, daisy, goofy and mickey in their safari clothes and the food is plentiful and delicious! also, although it was pretty crowded, it wasn't as noisy and chaotic as o'hana (which is also good, but not a buffet). we did the princess storybook meal at epcot a few years ago, but we did lunch, and it was really good. i'm sure it would have been better had i not gotten deathly ill on mission space a couple hours earlier.

Crystal Palace - By far the best one we've done! We'll be going again next trip (the youngest two haven't been yet)

1900 Park Fare (Poppins Breakfast) - also very good. We'll be doing it again because the last time it wasn't in it's regular place. They were remodeling or something.

Hollywood & Vine - It was fun too. The characters are from Jo-Jo's Circus and Little Einsteins. They get all the kids to come dance with the characters.

Cinderella's Royal Table - It was really neat to eat in the Castle, and there was a lot of interaction with the other princesses (Cindy stays out in the 'lobby' the whole time taking pics, etc.. only comes in for a brief part). The food was good for breakfast. But it's not something we'll do again any time soon, mainly b/c of the price.

I think it depends on what characters you/your kids will like best. The reason we like Crystal Palace so much is it seemed that there was a lot of interaction with the characters, very festive. Pooh even went and found some honey when my daughter (3 at the time) asked him where his honey was! :)

I agree it depends on what characters your kids are into. I have two boys that are into Donald, Mickey, and such. Also Tigger and Pooh and friends. I can't really do anything princessy, as my little boy doesn't know who they are yet. So we love Donald's Safari Breakfast at Tusker House. I also want to try the Crystal Palace one of these days. But I think doing one in a park is better as you are already there when you are finsihed eating.

My kids love Chef Mickey's at Contemporary. The breakfast is far better than the dinner imo. They feature Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, and Donald. My daughter is also a hugh Stitch fan, so we have breakfast a the OHANA in Polynesian. They feature, Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, Pluto.

We did the Princess breakfast at Akershus. It was really nice.

We really loved Chef mickey's (we went for Dinner). My kids 5 and 18mos, and my friends kids (ages 4 and 18 mos) loved it! They all loved the napkin waving antics, etc. You don't really say how old your kids are so I thought I'd include how mine were. My son (18mo) much prefered the big headed characters to the face ones...he was fine with them coming up to him at the table. My friends 18 mo old was terrified, but we have some really great pics!

We love Donald's Safari Breakfast at Tusker House. It has a very large buffet with a very large variety of foods. It also has a large selection of delicious, unique, international foods. My kson like the fact that they have thier "own" buffet. They have a buffet low enough for kids to fix their own plates.

We have not had good luck with dinner at CP. Breakfast was just ok. Hands down, my kids love Chef Mickeys. We have done it all but one year and the one year we didn't, everyone was bummed.
