Hi all. We are staying at a moderate resort for our '10 trip and have a character breakfast question. Which in-park breakfast do you think is best aside from Cinderella's Castle at MK? It needs to be in-park because we don't want to travel from resort to resort in the morning and we've done Cinerella's Castle enough. We're leaning toward Donald's breakfast in Tusker House at AK, but wondered if there are any others that disboard families like? Thanks.

We have ADR's for Tusker house on Sept 8th. My DS is 10 and my DD is 6. If you want I can PM when we return to answer some of your questions.

I love Crystal Palace...we always go there everytime we go to Disney at MK

My DH really likes Tusker House, and that is why we are going to try to go back there again this time. I love Pooh, so I lean towards CP. We have done breakfast at Play N Dine at DHS and it was okay, especially if your kids like the Little Einsteins. And I know you said in park, but just in case you want to take a trip on the monorail, Lilo and Stich's Ohana breakfast is really good. I really liked the character interaction and my DH liked the food.

My family loves Tusker House Breakfast buffet (great breakfast food and yummy juice, and great character interaction). Love that the characters are dressed in safari outfits. We also love having lunch at CP (great food selection). My son loves Hollywood and vine b/c of the song/dance they have ever 20 mins (if you have young kids this place is a must for them)

Akerhus breakfast is pretty good for a character breakfast.

We did pretty much all the in-park character breakfasts possible in March, and I really don't have anything bad to say about any of them.

MK: CRT, of course, but Crystal Palace is also good, and probably the best food choices of any of the buffets. Of course, it helps if your kids (or you!) are into Pooh and the gang.

AK: Tusker House is a very good breakfast, with 4 of the "fab 5" (Minnie isn't there), and the only place you can find Daisy at a character meal. If you get an 8 AM reservation, you should be able to walk onto the Safari after your meal.

Epcot: Akerhaus is a good option if you like princesses, but (at least when we went) the park will be open well before you're finished, even with the earliest ADR.

DHS: PHD at Hollywood & Vine probably ranks at the bottom, simply because the characters have more limited appeal. For us, our oldest is a big Little Einsteins fan, so this was a "must do".

Don't completely discount out-of-park options. Chef Mickey's, 'Ohana, and 1900 Park Fare are all on the MK resort loop, and easy to go to and from MK. Cape May is a possibility if you're going to go to Epcot or DHS. (Of those, the only one we did was CM.)

Crystal Palace is our favorite brkfst: very good buffet featuring puffed french toast :worship:, good character interaction with Pooh characters, restaurant has bright/open atmosphere

Thanks so much everyone. Lots of great ideas and feedback here. We've done Tusker House once for breakfast and really liked it. Haven't tried any of the others for breakfast (but a few for dinner).
