My mom and I will be celebrating my 25th Birthday at WDW in June, so I made an ADR for the Ohana Characte Breakfast. I don't really need to see the characters but wanted something fun to do on my birthday and my family loves the Poly. Reading reviews I'm getting a little scared about the food and am thinking about switching to Boma if its available. Looks like it is a true buffet and has more options. The only thing I am worried about is getting there from POP. We would have to take the bus to one of the parks and then switch and get one to AKL. What is your opinin on what I should do? Thanks!

Take a cab... Cabs are very cheap... If you want to go to Boma you should.... There are always cabs at your resort or can be called there in a just a few minutes... Taking a cab will make the morning stress free... We have taken cabs to different resorts and I think the most we spent was $15 for a party of 7....

Otherwise, take the bus to the AK park, then another bus to the Lodge....

As far as the breakfast itself, we have not been to either... We love breakfast buffets and have been to a bunch... But not those two.

I'm going to say that you should go to the Crystal Palace. I'm big on breakfast - had all the breakfasts at WDW except Akershus the new Tusker House - and IMO, it has the best breakfast on property. Even without the characters, it is a very yummy breakfast in a pretty building. And it is right in the Magic Kingdom.

But if you must choose between 'Ohana and Boma, I'd just go to 'Ohana because it is easier to get to without a car. I'm not a huge fan of either one for breakfast...though I do like Boma for dinner. :)
