We will be in Disneyland 15th-17th of June. There is 6 of us going, and i was curious, how do you get to the character breakfast, and how much does it cost? do you have to make reservations? Was it worth it. My mother in law and i love disney. We wanna go more then the kids do. However its mine and the kids first time at disneyland.

And here's a link to the menus, etc.

Absolutely do a character meal. We've never been disappointed, and they've always been a main highlight of our trips. It's nice to have some guaranteed one-on-one character time for the kids, and they're just a lot of fun! Be sure to pick up an autograph book (available at stores all over the resort) as soon as possible to take to the park and meals as the characters will all sign them. We love the ones where there's a spot to add a picture later of the child and the character.

Be sure to reserve in advance at the number listed in the post above AND be sure to confirm just before your trip. During our first DL trip, we had reservations for Goofy's only to arrive and find the restaurant closed. They had adjusted the restaurant hours to reflect updated crowd estimates and had moved our reservation time earlier - only they failed to tell us that! Lots of crying that day (me included!) and NO sympathy from Disney Dining. Urgh. I always confirm now just in case (got DD programmed into my cell phone now!) and have never had any other problems.

Thanks for your answers....i think we will do a character breakfast, i think its gonna be a blast, i cant wait.

Thank you again

Yeah enjoy your character breakfast. It is truly an enjoyable and unique experience. Have fun!

It's actually 60 days in advance that you can make your reservations. And I recommend calling that far ahead, too. Especially for some of the really popular meals, like Ariel's Grotto. That seems to fill up fast!

I stayed at the desert inn and we did lilo and stich while the breakfest thing was good the walk to there sucks with a 2 yr old fro, where I stayed. If your rooms are there or DLH then it wouldn't have been a big deal.

I loved minnie and friends because it is in DLR so there was no walk at all and we are going to try the princess lunch in may also in the park.
