Character Breakfast with no park entry?

I'm hoping some DL experts can help me out. I am going to DL on Dec. 22 and 23, and driving to AZ on the morning of the 24th. I'd love to do a character breakfast, but since we only have 2 days in the parks, I hesitate to take so much time out of the schedule for a meal. So, I was thinking we could do one on the 24th, if there are any that do not require park entry, such as the ones at the hotels. Help, please?

Lilo and Stitch and Goofys Kitchen are two that I know about.. did both and they were both great.

Chip and Dale at Storyteller's Cafe (Grand Californian) would also be not in the park. We never did this character breakfast, but did eat at Storyteller's and it was nice. Goofy's Kitchen (DL Hotel) we have been to and enjoyed it - one time better character interaction than the other, but good overall (this one is the most expensive though).

Whichever one you choose, you'll have a good time. You're in Disneyland :woohoo:

We've been to the character breakfast at Storytellers at the Grand Californian three times and highly recommend it. This is the only character meal we've had at DL, but we've been to many WDW character meals, and Storytellers is one of our favorites.

I second Goofys Kitchen. We went in 2004 and it was terrific. Had lots of interaction with the charecters and a vast selection of food choices. We are now booked for Dinner and Bruch there next month. They fill up fast so I recomend PS for the day you want. CALL NOW.

Lilo and Stitch usually will also have Minnie, Pluto and Max. You can do the buffet or order off the menu. Since this is pretty small there is usually lots of character interaction.

Storytellers has Chip and Dale and I've heard Pluto though I've only seen Chip and Dale. Again, you can do the buffet or order off the menu.

Goofy's is the biggest and most popular. It has the most characters and food choices, but can get busy and depending where you're sitting character interaction can vary. I've seen Goofy, Donald, Pluto, Baloo, Peter Pan, Jasmine, Aladdin, Cruella, Chip and Dale.

I would suggest Lilo & Stitch, we had a great time there. We haven't done Storytellers but had a terrible time at Goofy's. Those are the 3 that are available outside of the parks.
