Trying to figure out which character breakfast will be the best one for our family when we are at Disneyland. We have two girls (teen/pre-teen) and a younger boy. Wanting to go to one rather than one for the girls and one for him. Any suggestions on ones that would be both gender oriented? Thanks in advance for any information you can give me.

looking for Disney World or Disneyland? There is a separate general forum for Disneyland where you will be able to get better advice. Just click on the Disneyland tab at the top and then Forums.

In case you are looking at WDW, I usually advise people to look at the characters their kids like. The food is usually a secondary item for them. Some you might consider are

Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary - Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy - breakfast and dinner. I think breakfast is better overall and it is cheaper

Ohana at the Polynesian - Lilo, Stitch, Mickey and Pluto - breakfast only

Garden Grill in Epcot - Mickey, Pluto and Chip and Dale - dinner only - Chip and Dale are some of the most entertaining characters.

Tusker House in Animal Kingdom - Donald, Daisy, Mickey and Goofy - breakfast and lunch

Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom - Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet - breakfast, lunch and dinner - Your older kids may think these are too young for them but I still like the Pooh characters.

There are several others. This is a good summary:

Chef Mickey's food offerings are great and while the character interactions are great, the restaurant is large and loud! We have done both Chef Mickeys and Crystal Palace and far prefer Crystal Palace. There may be a little less variety in food (maybe not) but the atmosphere just feels more calm and the character interaction is just as good, although with Pooh, Piglet, Eyeore and Tigger.

I've never done it myself and I'm not even sure it's still a character meal, but I've heard that Restaurantasaurus had a nice character breakfast
